We had five large trees in front of our house near the power lines that needed to come down, and Point Pleasant Tree Service did an outstanding job! Mike was incredibly responsive, answering our questions quickly and giving us a very fair price. The crew worked efficiently, safely, and cleaned up everything afterward.

Our neighbors' 90ft white pine fell across our house, and Mike and his team were here 30 minutes after the phone call for help went out. They did an amazing job removing that massive tree, dealing with close proximity to neighbors and tricky slate roof.

Mike promptly visited my home and assessed taking down my dying 95' high, 150 year old Sugar Maple. The quote was very competitive compared to other bids. His crew was extremely professional, careful, incredibly well coordinated and hard working. My property and driveway were left as clean as when they started.

I was looking to take down 18-20 trees across the front of my yard. Mike could see my vision and made great suggestions I never would have thought of. They took down the trees, ground the stumps, removed the grindings and brought in soil, seeded and planted arborvitae all in just a few days. Call Point Pleasant, you won't be disappointed!

Some "tree services" are just a guy with a chainsaw and I've felt very nervous in the past, not with Point Pleasant Tree Service. They removed 10+ large trees of dangerous branches and dead wood on my property. Their level of safety and cleanliness was really impressive. Very reasonable rates.

I had the team remove a very large tree in the backyard, dangerously close to my log cabin style shed. They were incredible and very considerate in all they did, even going above and beyond removing additional fallen branches. How they do what they do safely is impressive.

From the initial consultation through the removal and replanting of many trees, the process was extremely professional. Everything was explained in detail, so there are no surprises. I plan to use them again in the fall.

Mike came back to remove a HUGE 80' black walnut on one of the coldest and windiest of days, after removing trees precariously close to a glass atrium in the summer. Kudos to him and his team for their bravery, tenacity and keeping his promise.

Point Pleasant Tree Service removed three large trees on my property. Two were precariously close to the house and one was in the midst of the service wires. Mike and his crew did a great job removing the trees without incident despite the complexity of the task.

Needed tree work done after my grandmother had a tree fall on her house. He was over to look at the house within an hour. He cleared the tree, removed it off the house and was extremely fair priced. Could not recommend a better tree service!

From owner Mike Langer

It started when I was strong enough to hold a chainsaw.

Growing up in the woods, the best times were helping my dad cut down trees and work outside. I didn't know it then, but I was hooked. Split-second engineering with no room for error is what drove me to the industry, and I am building this business out of passion. I truly love what I do, and I take pride in perfection in how it's done.

The most important part of the trade is safety. It runs through my day, my business and my life. Every project is planned with safety for everyone in mind: the crew in the tree, the crew on the ground, you at home and your property. We spend an exorbitant amount on the proper insurance, which separates us from the "tree and lawn care" guys. We are a tree service. That's all we do, and we do it best.

Our specialty is the trickiest, seemingly impossible removals, and we do our best to stay within your budget. There are always lower and higher bids than ours; we aim to make a fair profit without ripping people off. At the end of the day, our motivation to climb the next tree is customer approval. Referrals make up 90% of our business. People talk, and they talk good of us.

FAQ

Questions we get before the first visit

Are you insured?

Yes, fully. We carry the proper insurance for tree work, which is expensive and is what separates a real tree service from a landscaper with a chainsaw. Proof of insurance is available on request.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Mike comes out, looks at the tree and the property, presents options and gives you a price to consider.

How quickly can you respond to an emergency?

We respond to storm emergencies around the clock. Customers have reported us on site within 30 minutes to an hour. Call first so we can give you an honest arrival window.

Can you take down a tree that is close to my house or in the power lines?

That is our specialty. Building the business along the Delaware River valley meant learning to remove trees where nothing can simply be dropped. If a tree is in contact with a utility line, call the utility company first.

What areas do you serve?

All of Bucks County, including Perkasie, Doylestown, New Hope, Point Pleasant, Pipersville, Solebury, Jamison, Upper Black Eddy, Chalfont, Dublin, Quakertown, Warrington and Newtown, plus Lambertville, NJ.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as check and cash.

Do you sell firewood?

Yes, premium seasoned hardwood from our own removals, delivered to your driveway or stacked on your racks while supplies last.
