Point Pleasant Tree Service Tree Service Call (215) 385-0552

Difficult takedowns are our specialty

Tree removal in Bucks County, from open yards to a 200-foot dead oak over a glass house.

Every tree is assessed with a fresh outlook. Building the business along the Delaware River valley forced us into takedowns most outfits walk away from, so tight, technical removals near homes, wires and slopes became the thing we do best.

Tree Removal context for Point Pleasant Tree Service

To the untrained eye, a tree is a tree. That is far from the case.

Most people can fell a tree in an open field. When it comes to a 200-foot dead oak leaning over a glass house, the professionals need to be called. Each removal is planned around the tree, the ground crew, your home and everything underneath the canopy.

We will never take on a removal we cannot do, but we have yet to turn away a good challenge. Removals close to service wires, over roofs and decks, on river-valley slopes and in backyards with no equipment access are the jobs we are called for most.

Safety across the board: us in the tree, us on the ground, you at home.

If our reputation only says that we are safe, then the job was done right. We carry the proper insurance that separates a real tree service from a "tree and lawn care" guy, and we plan every job so that we never have to use it.

One thing people should know about takedowns: the sooner, the better. A dying tree can be safely climbed and worked. A tree that died long ago, was struck by lightning or has rotted often requires more equipment such as a crane, and that raises the price. Keep an eye out for problems and call early.

FAQ

Tree Removal questions before you call

Can you remove a tree that is right next to my house or over power lines?

Yes. Removals close to homes, roofs, service wires and glass are what we are known for. We will assess it in person and explain how we plan to take it down safely. If a tree is touching a utility line, call the utility first.

Do I need to be home during the removal?

Not necessarily, but many customers like to watch. We regularly accommodate schedules, including weekends when possible, so you can be present.

What happens to the wood?

Your call. We can haul everything away, chip the brush and leave firewood-length rounds, or cut slabs and pieces for customers who want to make tables or shelves from a favorite tree.
